SAVINA HAUNTED HAPPY HOUR
Today and tomorrow are the final days to RSVP for Haunted
Happy Hour!
Join us on Thursday, October 31, 2024 6:00 pm-8:30 pm in the Social
Lounge for a Haunted Halloween Happy Hour. This event is open to
residents of Savina. Total of 2 guests per unit. Social Committee will
provide Spooky Spirits and Ghoulish Bites. Come if you dare!
RSVP by October 26th
In order to confirm your reservation, we will be collecting a $10.00 per person deposit for this
event. This will be refunded to you when you sign into event. If you are a no-show or cancel after
October 26th, then you will forfeit the deposit. Please bring a check for $10.00 per person to the
front desk.
FOOD DELIVERY SURVEY
There will be a food delivery survey sent to the owners of the community. The question outlined
will be whether or not to eliminate food deliveries to the unit doors.
If approved this would stop Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc. from delivering to the unit. The food
would be left in a designated area in the general downstairs lobby area for the resident to retrieve
unless there is a disability or medical issue preventing the resident from retrieving their food. In
this instance the Savina staff would deliver the food to the unit.
The survey will be sent in a separate email for owners.
RESIDENT HOUSEKEEPERS
If you hire housekeeping to tend to your unit, please make sure they are aware there is no
solicitating permitted at Savina. This includes leaving business cards on neighbor’s doors as well
as stopping residents in the lobby and elevators to directly hand out their card.
Housekeepers and vendors are more than welcome to leave their cards with the front desk so we
can add them to the business card binder.

As an owner of the Association, you have the ability to save your Association money by simply
having the disclosures and monthly docs sent to you via email rather than having them printed.

you! Members select books on a round-robin system (which makes adding new members easy),
and we get together monthly (usually at 6 PM on the last Monday of the month).

ASSOCIATION MEETING RE-SCHEDULED
The Association meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2024 has been
rescheduled to Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 6pm. If you have any questions, please feel free

ANNUAL FIRE SPRINKLER INSPECTION
Starting October 14 -16, 2024, Fire Inspectors from The Hiller Companies INC. will be inspecting
all fire sprinklers.
The Annual Inspection is a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT by the State Fire Marshall as
noted in NFPA 25, California Edition. In order to complete the certification, the Association is
REQUIRED to have a Certified Inspector visually inspect EVERY Fire Sprinkler Head in order
to complete the necessary annual inspections in the building which includes the ones located inside
of each individual’s private unit.
Please check your email over the next week to confirm the method of entry to your unit. The
front desk team will reach out via phone call if no email response is received.

PACKAGES
Please be sure to pick-up your packages as soon as possible!
There is a high volume of packages delivered every day and there is minimal storage capacity to
hold them for extended periods. With the holiday season upon us, please be sure to plan deliveries
to times when you are home and are able to pick up your package.
Packages unclaimed after 5 days will be returned to sender. If you are out of town or have a special
circumstance that requires your packages to be picked up at a later date, please email management.

ELEVATOR LOAD TESTING – UPDATE
Mitsubishi was on site Monday, September 16 – Friday, September 20 to complete the mandated
elevator load testing. One elevator per day was shut down for testing.
We apologize for the brief unexpected shutdown of all 4 elevators on Monday September 16.
With every building being different it gives management and the engineering the opportunity to
instill best practices that can be passed on for future managers & engineers of the community:
• We should ensure the vendor brings all the elevators to the lobby before starting the
testing. This will ensure no one is actively using the elevator
• There are circuit breaker panels located on the 37th & 38th Floor for power to the
elevators. With the main reset panel located on the 38th floor as well
• Have the elevator vendor Mitsubishi bring at a minimum (3) workers to start the testing
so we have them in the main areas if something goes awry.
All in all, after the 40 minute hiccup, everything else was smooth sailing, but we will still
document these items for future testing and also continue to find better ways to get the work
accomplished.
GYM ETIQUETTE
When working out in the Savina gym please remember this is a shared space. You may only use
one machine at a time and cannot reserve other machines with a water bottle or towel. Also,
please be mindful of noise levels while training and do not take phone calls inside of the gym.
ANNUAL MEETING
This year’s Annual Meeting of the membership will be held on December 11, 2024 in the Social
Lounge. There will be three (3) seats on the Board that will need to be filled. Candidate forms
were due to Ballot Box by Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 5pm.
SAVINA WINE WEDNESDAY
The Savina Talent Show has been cancelled. Instead, the Social Committee will be hosting a
Wine Wednesday!
Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 6:30 pm-9:00pm in the Social Lounge.
Please come mix and mingle with your neighbors for wine, beer & light snacks.

ELEVATOR LOAD TESTING
Mitsubishi will be on site Monday, September 16 – Friday, September 20 to complete the
mandated elevator load testing. One elevator per day will be shut down for testing.
What does this mean for residents? Elevator times may be delayed due to only 3 elevators
running per day. Also, no move-ins, move-outs, or deliveries can be scheduled that week.
PARKING GARAGE
When entering and exiting the parking garage please be aware of unknown and/or suspicious
vehicles and people. If you notice a car waiting in the commercial area for the residential gate to
open or following close behind you, please call the front desk. Let’s work together to keep our
building safe!
ANNUAL MEETING
This year’s Annual Meeting of the membership will be held on December 11, 2024 in the Social
Lounge. There will be three (3) seats on the Board that will need to be filled. By now all owners
should have received a candidate form. If you are interested in running for one (1) of the three (3)
seats open, you will need to submit your candidate form to Ballot Box by Wednesday, September
18, 2024 at 5pm.
Submissions should only be sent to the vendor Ballot Box via the address or email listed on the
candidate form.
SAVINA TALENT SHOW
Please don’t forget to RSVP for Savina’s Talent show by Monday,
September 16th! In the event we do not receive enough RSVPs by this
date, the Talent Show will be cancelled. This will be a fun evening to see
some of our fellow residents perform as well as time to socialize with your
neighbors and enjoy beer, wine and some light snacks.

for an evening of music, comedy, surprises and a special guest star!
