The EV infrastructure project is moving right along. The Association just submitted its power shutdown request to SDG&E for June 6th from 8am-2pm. The alternate date
submitted was June 12th from 8am-2pm. We are now just awaiting which date they will approve. Once they approve the date, the vendor will move the entire EV infrastructure
over to an EV meter that will allow for lower rates when charging your EV vehicle. There are a couple things you should expect once the date is approved by SDGE. The entire
building will operate on generator power meaning some service will be limited:
• Only (2) two elevators will operate while the generator is working
• If you need to contact the front desk you will need to call the cell phone @619-904-
5445.
• Only the emergency lighting will work on the residential floors.
• No Moves or Deliveries will be allowed on either June 6th or 12th. They are both
blocked out right now, but once we receive the confirmation we’ll open up the other
date for elevator use.
• If you’re on the common area WIFI there will be a disconnection when the house
power goes off and shifts to the generator. It’s about 20 seconds and will happen
again when we go back from generator to house power.
• The shutdown will not affect the inside of residential units as the units are
separately metered.
