CC&R AMENDMENT DEADLINE – REMINDER & UPDATE

By now every owner should have received a ballot to vote on the CC&R Amendment concerning smoking on exclusive use common areas like patios, balconies, etc. The deadline to return your ballot is May, 31, 2024. The ballot should be returned to the vendor Ballot Box. Please do not attempt to drop off ballots at the front desk or with management.

Management contacted Ballot Box to get a count of the ballots received; as of May 15, 2024, Ballot Box has received 111 ballots which meets the quorum requirement, but does not meet the number to pass the amendment if the meeting was scheduled. There is still time for ballots to be submitted as the deadline is May 31, 2024. If you did not receive a ballot or lost your ballot, please let management know so you can be provided with a new one.

MANAGEMENT OFFICE HOLIDAY CLOSURE

Management office will be closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day. The front desk team will still be available 24/7 to assist residents.

BIKE REGISTRATION – REMINDER

The 30-day grace period for bike registration began on Tuesday April 24th. On May 26th management will begin moving all bikes without a sticker to a separate storage area. Bikes will be
held here for another 30-days and if left unclaimed they will be donated. All unregistered bikes now have a warning tag zip-tied to them. If you see a tag on your bike,
come to the front desk to register it. There are currently 11 bikes that are tagged.

BOOK CLUB

The May selection is “The Bishop and the Butterfly: Murder, Politics, and the End of the Jazz Age” by Michael Wolraich. The Book Club’s next meeting is on Monday, May 20th, at 6 p.m. in
the Business Center.

ONGOING BUILDING MAINTENANCE

• Small paint touch-ups throughout building
• Grills parts are on order, but they are still in working order

COMPLETED BUILDING MAINTENANCE

• Generator repair
• Pool heater repaired

DOGS

When you are taking your dog for a walk outside, please ensure that you curb them away from the building and landscape. Manageement is noticing a number of residents allowing their dogs to urinate on the concrete planters and walls of the community. This can cause damage to the planters which will be a cost to the Association to clean/repair. Please help us keep the community looking and smelling great by curbing your dog.

PETS OF SAVINA

This week’s pet is Nicki! Nicki is an Applehead Siamese. She cleverly maneuvered her way into a shelter because she knew the right humans that she would come to own would soon appear.
That was almost 20 years ago…Her wish is that all pets could live the great life she has enjoyed.

Want your pet to be featured next week? Send a picture to Lena via email at lkayed@actionlife.com.
*Please note our weekly newsletter is always posted to our public website*
