Community Update 4.4.25

FINANCIAL COMMITTEE & RULES COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
The Board is looking for a few owners to volunteer to serve on the Financial Committee
and the Rules Committees. If you are interested, please email Jabbear Swinton, GM at
jswinton@actionlife.com stating which committee you are interested in. A short bio of
why you would like to serve on the committee is recommended.
QUIET HOURS
Community quiet hours are observed from 10pm-7am each day. This includes gatherings,
loud music, TVs, videogames, talking, and in-unit maintance/construction. Outside of
quiet hours, noise levels should be kept at a respectful level to avoid disturburance to your
neighbors.
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING
On April 9, 2025 there will be only an Executive Board Meeting, which is closed to
owners. The next Open Session meeting will be Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
SMOKE DETECTORS – IN UNIT
If the carbon monoxide or smoke detector(s) in your unit is beeping or chirping, the
batteries need to be replaced. While the detectors are hardwired into each unit, there is a
battery backup in case of a power outage. The beeping/chirping indicates that the backup
battery needs to be replaced.
The carbon monoxide detectors use 9V batteries, and the smoke detectors use AA
batteries. To replace the batteries, twist and pull the detector(s) downwards. To reinstall,
simply reverse the process.

WATER METER BATTERY REPLACEMENT
There are water meters in units that are not properly reporting water usage because
of dead or low battery. We will be contacting each resident to see how they would
like to grant access for the battery change. The dates for this will be April 15-18,
2025
You may either provide a key, grant us access to use your emergency key or be home
to allow entry. Be on the look out for a call or email about how you would like to
grant access.
Lena will be your point of contact, so please let her know how you will grant access
for the battery replace. Lena’s email address is lkayed@actionlife.com
