The Board is looking for a few owners to volunteer to serve on the Financial Committee
and the Rules Committees. If you are interested, please email Jabbear Swinton, GM at
jswinton@actionlife.com stating which committee you are interested in. A short bio of
why you would like to serve on the committee is recommended.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SHOWER CARTRIDGES BEING DISCONTINUED
Please be advised that, according to our vendor, the current shower cartridges for the
master bathroom will be discontinued by the end of the year. Residents are encouraged
to stock up on one or two extra cartridges while they are still available, as they may be
difficult to find once production ends.
You will know it is time to replace your cartridge when you notice a change in water
pressure and/or when the temperature favors only hot or only cold. Having the cartridge
cleaned will help extend the cartridge life and/or it can be replaced every 2-3 years
as preventative maintenance.
Please note: If your cartridge fails after it has been discontinued, both the cartridge and
the trim may need to be replaced with currently available models on the market.
The Grohe shower cartridge part number GR-47-860-000 can be found on Amazon or on
other online shops. Some local stores that carry shower cartridges may have some in stock
as well, call ahead with the part number to find out.

ONGOING BUILDING MAINTENANCE
• Waiting for part to repair right-side heater in dry sauna (left side is operational
and sauna is open for use. May take longer to reach desired temp due to only
one heater functioning)

PET RETREAT
Please remember that the Pet Retreat is a shared space. If your dog is sick, please
avoid bringing them around other dogs if possible. If you must use the Pet Retreat,
please thoroughly clean up their mess.
If you do not have the supplies to fully clean it, please call the Front Desk so we can
arrange to hose down the area. This will help keep other dogs in the community safe
and prevent the spread of viruses.

SAFETY REMINDERS
Slow down when exiting the garage. Please drive slowly and be sure to look both
ways. There are not only pedestrians walking by, but also bikers, skaters, and scooter
riders who pass by at much higher speeds. Their fast movement can make it difficult
to stop in time. We appreciate your caution and cooperation
Stay alert around the neighborhood. While we work hard to ensure the building is
safe, the surrounding Downtown and Little Italy streets and neighborhoods can be
unpredictable. Please stay alert and aware when walking around Downtown. Report
suspicious activity or crime to SDPD.

MANAGEMENT OUT OF OFFICE
General Manager, Jabbear Swinton will be on vacation from April 17-April 27. He will be returning on Monday, April 28.
