PROPER CAT LITTER DISPOSAL GUIDELINES

To keep our building clean, functional, and comfortable for everyone, please follow these simple steps when disposing of cat litter and other pet waste:

Collect the waste properly
Scoop used cat litter and place it into a sturdy plastic bag. Avoid using paper bags, as they can leak and cause sanitation issues.

Seal the bag securely
Tie the plastic bag tightly to prevent odors and spills while transporting it.

Take it directly to the trash room
Bring the sealed bag to the P1 trash room and place it directly into the bins provided.

Do not use the trash chute
Cat litter must never be sent down the chute, as it can clog the compactor, cause costly breakdowns, and make janitorial work significantly more difficult and time-consuming.

By following these steps, you help protect our building’s equipment, reduce extra maintenance costs, and ensure a cleaner, healthier living environment for all residents and staff.
